Credential of DataSource

Apr 12, 2012 at 5:49 AM

Hi,

This tool is cool. When using it, I have an issue that may need your help.

In .rdl file, I set Credential of DataSource to "Do not use credentials". But when deploy to RS, it is always set to "Prompt for credentials". Is there any configuration to set this?

I also try to comment out these lines in class R2DeploymentManger (the only place I found that set CredentialRetrievalEnum.Prompt) :

 if (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(dataSource.CredentialsPrompt))
 {
      // Prompt the user for security credentials
         definition.Prompt = dataSource.CredentialsPrompt;
         definition.CredentialRetrieval = CredentialRetrievalEnum.Prompt;
 }

but not success.

Thanks & Regards,

Khoa

Hi Khoa
Thank you for your e-mail. To help could you please send me a copy of the build project file. I only need the section which contains the datasource and the call to the task it self.
